As a freelance illustrator with a degree in architecture from U.C.B., I started performing as a caricaturist at parties & events in 1990.  This intensely-interactive business of capturing ones' look & essence quickly on paper has jolted my nerves, ignited my imagination, and captured my heart.  Years of countless speed-drawing workouts have pushed me to new speeds, refined my communication skills, and taught me new, liberating drawing techniques.  For more creative fun in my caricatures, I use various "recipes" of humor, discrete exaggeration, and colorful elements designed for different client groups.  To engage a certain audience, my ability to speak and write chinese comes in handy, since part of my job is to mingle and to generate audience participation, he he.
