Fred McCarty


Fred McCarty was raised in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. He has composed well in excess of three hundred songs and compositions. His background includes composition and performance experience in many musical genres, with deep roots in bluegrass and Country. Some of Fred's earliest influences were Marty Robbins, Roy Orbison, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Sr., Bob Wills, Sons of the Pioneers and Gene Autry.

Professional in every way, Fred McCarty's band delivers a performance that is dynamic and full of energy. Their rich vocal harmonies, combined with outstanding instrumental expertise, make each performance an exciting display of musical entertainment. Fred McCarty stands with the best of the touring "road warriors" of American music. He's played solo, duo, as a band member and as front man.

Fred has appeared with: Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Trisha Yearwood, Mark Chestnut, Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood and many others.   The live performances of his country originals, Texas Swing and Cajun tunes as well as Classic Cowboy songs continue to be a favorite for audiences from coast-to-coast.
