Tara Quinn
Tara Quinn's body-bending art feeds on the thrill, fantasy, and imagination in life and the innate beauty in the shapes, patterns, and rhythms in movement. She invites you to let go of preconceived limits and stretch past the usual boundaries, trusting the strength and light from within to hold you steady.
This past year Tara was seen performing all over the world. She had the honor of being the resident contortionist for 6 months at the brand new Venetian Casino and Resort in Macau, China. She then went on to volunteer in Kenya with the Africa Yoga Project co-creating and choreographing a show for the Amani Circus. The circus, made up of talented youth from the slums of Nairobi, brings a message of peace, performs, and teaches circus arts, traveling to the areas that were most affected by the recent post election violence.
This past spring in Europe, Tara advanced her own skills studying acrobatics in the Netherlands at the Dutch Acrobatics Festival and completing the Acro-Yoga Teacher Training in Greece. Returning to the USA she was Chief of Circus, instructing flying trapeze at Sandy Cove Resort's summer program in Northeastern Maryland.
